This year second semester examinations will take place in the second week of Third Term holidays (3rd – 6th October); this will ensure all course content has been delivered and revision has taken place.

WACE Examinations in 2016
All ATAR Courses of Study have compulsory exams. General and Foundation Courses of Study will have . The practical exams will take place from 24 September to 9 October, these dates include weekends and public holidays. The written exams will commence on 31 October and conclude on 23 November 2016.
Unless an exemption has been granted, students will be required to sit exams in order to graduate
School Incentives for High Achievers
1st Semester A’s Students receiving 2 A’s or more in their first semester results will be acknowledged in the MUSE and will be presented with certificates and chocolates at a high achiever assembly.
Honour Board Students achieving 16 A’s over two years (Years 11 and 12) will be inducted into the Kelmscott Senior High School Honour Society at the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony. This will be based on end of year course marks. An Honour Board in the front office includes the names of all students with 16 A’s.
Kelmscott Senior High School ATAR – Dux will receive $1000 from the government and $150 from the school.
For each ATAR subject where a scaled mark of over 75 is achieved students will receive a certificate from the school.
Students who gain a Certificate of Commendation receive $100
Students who gain a Certificate of Distinction receive $100
Kelmscott SHS Premier VET and General Pathway students will receive $100.
